Are You Colorblind?
Color blindness (Color Vision Deficiency - CVD) affects approximately 300 to 350 million people globally, representing roughly 4.5% of the total world population. The condition is heavily sex-linked, impacting about 1 in 12 men (8%) and 1 in 200 women (0.5%). The vast majority (95-98%) of cases are red-green deficiencies, while blue-yellow is rare.
